A popular staff canteen with a wide menu selection
Fenwick in Brent Cross, one of the 9 UK stores within this family owned group, recently called on us to radically overhaul its staff catering facility. Essentially, the compromised space meant that the company’s food provision was restricted and therefore not catering adequately for the needs of its employees.
We had been brought in by consultants and, working together, we found a solution to the spatial issues by clearing and incorporating an unused, adjacent area, resulting in a space that would prove effective.
Our design incorporated a kitchen capable of producing a wide menu selection as well as a servery displaying both hot and cold dishes.
In addition we installed a large multideck for grab and go foods, perfect for an enhanced selection of light meals and snacks, which helps to ease congestion during busy periods.
There is now ample space for employees to sit and enjoy their subsidised meals and recent staff reviews indicate that the new canteen has been very well received.
